Account and data deletion

You can delete your Florapass account and the data linked to it at any time.

This page is about the app Florapass, developed by Matkala Studios. The app's name in different languages: Kasvipassi and Florapass.

In the app

• Open the app's Account page.
• Choose "Delete account and data" and confirm.

Deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone.

What is deleted

• profile and sign-in data
• all finds, find photos and achievements
• quiz data, sessions and subscription status from our server

Find photos are deleted immediately and are not backed up. Copies of other data disappear from the backups as they rotate, within 30 days at the latest.

If you cannot access the app

Send a deletion request to legal@florapass.app from the same email address you use for your Google or Apple account. If you use Apple's private relay address, mention it in the request and include your account's nickname so that we can identify the account. We delete your data within a month.

School pupils

A pupil who signs in with the school's code has their account and data deleted by the teacher in the teacher portal, and they are also deleted 90 days after the school's licence has ended. Contact your school.

Subscription

Deleting your account does not cancel the Florapass Plus subscription. Cancel the subscription first in the Apple App Store or Google Play subscription settings so that the charges stop.
